Frown Lines

Also called Glabellar Lines

There are two types of ‘frown’ lines commonly present between the eyebrows: those that only appear with expression (dynamic), and those that are present all the time (static).

Dynamic eyebrow lines can be treated with muscle-relaxing injections such as botox, to achieve a subtle, natural look. By reducing the strength of the dynamic lines caused with expression, the static lines gradually fade over time; the weaker the expression the faster your static lines will fade (this subtle balancing act is discussed in full at your consultation to achieve the effect you desire).

It is very important to maintain a NATURAL look and so a small amount of movement is usually preserved so that nobody 'guesses' that you have treatments.

Static eyebrow lines can be treated with dermal fillers such as Restylane or Juvéderm® Ultra. The anti-wrinkle effects last between 6-9 months on average, the benefit being that the effects are noticeable straight away.

For optimum results, we can combine the two treatments, for immediate results and long-term wrinkle reduction.
