However, there are critically important things to note about this highly effective treatment: firstly, that you should only have botox administered by a skilled, reputable medical person with a proven track record for safety; secondly, that that person should be experienced in working with individuals to achieve a look that is completely natural-looking.

Rest assured, Riverbanks can confidently tick both boxes.

Botox is the most effective treatment for smoothing out dynamic facial wrinkles (the ones that appear when you smile, frown or laugh), for example on the forehead and face. One injection temporarily relaxes muscle contractions to give you a fresher, brighter, more relaxed appearance. Wrinkles become smoother and often even disappear altogether.

Is it safe?

Yes. Botox is one of the most researched drugs in medicine, with thousands of papers published from across the world. Recent media stories have often been grossly misinterpreted by non-medical journalists purely in a bid to sell more copies of their publication. or sell more advertising space on TV. Botox is used safely in young children and adults in all national health systems worldwide. The cosmetic use of botox is entirely safe.

How long does it last?

Typically, the effects of botox last for 3-4 months, after which re-treatment is usually required.

How much will it cost?

Prices start from £200 for the first area.

Our prices are based upon exactly how much botox you need to achieve the desired results so individual prices vary.
